Ecogain Leads the Conversation on Sustainable Mining at COP16 in Cali, Colombia
At COP16 in Cali, Ecogain is hosting the Mining with Nature seminar, bringing together leaders from the mining industry, civil society, and biodiversity experts to explore innovative solutions for integrating nature into mining practices.
The seminar will highlight the mining industry's vital responsibility to embed nature into its core business strategy—not only for biodiversity and the green transition, but also to enhance long-term profitability and competitive advantages. Sweden's pioneering industry roadmap, Mining with Nature, will be showcased as an example of how businesses can take a leading role in these critical issues. This roadmap demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration can drive innovation, sustainable practices, and new opportunities for growth.

The seminar will be led by Katarina Walter, CEO of Ecogain, with a keynote address by Anders Enetjärn, Founder of Ecogain, highlighting the Mining with Nature roadmap as a model for sustainable leadership within the industry.
This event is part of the Nordic countries' COP16 activities and is arranged in collaboration with Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Colombia. The seminar aims to inspire more companies to integrate nature into their business objectives, aligning profitability with nature conservation.
